I was born and raised in the Grays Green Community as the eldest of five children. From an early age I understood how my choices could affect the people around me and discovered a strong commitment to helping others. My path in humanitarian work began at nine years old while attending the Five Islands Primary School. Not long after, I joined the Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross Society and grew through the ranks to become the youngest person elected President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. I served in this role from 2015 to 2020 and later became an elected member of the Federation’s Governing Board in Geneva from 2017 to 2020.
Youth development and youth engagement remain central to my work. I continue to advocate for young people to have a meaningful voice at every decision-making level.
